Two weeks after moving to Halifax and joining the Beth Israel Synagogue, Lisa and I feel as if we’re part of an extended family that we never knew existed. Warmth and friendship have been a consistent element in every interaction we have had with Beth Israel members and the whole Jewish community of Halifax. We realize that we have not had the opportunity to meet everyone and are looking forward to the day that we have met and shmoozed with every member of this wonderful shul.
We eagerly await the time that we really get to know everyone intimately. Your suggestions and advice on how to make the shul and our community a place for meaningful Jewish experiences and a happening place are always welcome.
